I've had this Cuisinart toaster for three months now and it's been flawless. The extra-wide slots handle thick bagels and artisan bread without a struggle. The six shade settings give me just the right toast every time – golden brown on the outside, soft inside. The bagel function is a game-changer, and the defrost works wonders on frozen slices. The crumb tray slides out easily for cleaning. Compact but sturdy, it doesn't take much counter space. Definitely recommend!

For the discounted price, it's acceptable, but I wouldn't pay full price.

Bought this for my apartment. It's compact, doesn't take much space. Toasting is even, and the extra-wide slots are perfect for my thick-cut bread. The shade dial is easy to use. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that the exterior gets a bit hot to the touch, but that might be normal for stainless steel. Great value at $35.
