Great knife set for the price

I was surprised by the quality of these knives. They're sharp, comfortable to hold, and look great in the block. The set includes all the knives I need – chef's knife, santoku, paring, plus shears and sharpening steel. The hollow handles are easy to grip, even when my hands are wet. For $35, this is an excellent value.

Nice set, but knives need regular sharpening

The knives are good-looking and feel solid. They come sharp, but after a few weeks of everyday use, they're not as sharp as I'd like. I have to use the sharpening steel regularly. The block is sturdy and looks nice on the counter. The shears are handy. Overall, good value if you're willing to maintain the edges.
